OUR TEAM
AND ALLIES
We Matter believes in giving Indigenous Peoples the power and ability to determine how this issue must be addressed. Giving that this issue touches youth, we trust that growing a social media presence helps further our message and increase recognition.
In building the team of leaders and supporters, We Matter has reached out to Indigenous creators/influencers/activists/leaders from all over Canada, on social media platforms to invite them in joining the campaign. Whether it be as an ally or a voice for the campaign, our team has grown and is dedicated to continue reaching more people every day. The incredible content creators and ambassadors joining the We Matter campaign hope to extend the invitation to all Indigenous communities around Canada as well as the sympathetic public in the fight for youth's lives.

Here Is A Preview Of Our Recruitment Letter
Dear [Name Here],
We hope you are doing well! We are reaching out to you today on the behalf of our campaign "We Matter". This campaign focuses on raising awareness throughout Canada on the issue of Indigenous youth suicide. We aim to bring people together as a way to pressure our government into immediate and sustained action such as funding. We are determined to make the issue a priority and advocate for Indigenous youth around the country. We are demanding that the government upholds its commitment to Jordan’s Principle and sustain its efforts to provide necessary resources to put in place Indigenous-led suicide prevention initiatives.
We Matter is working on spreading it's message through social media platforms, gathering events, and uniting forces with strong Indigenous voices. We hope to reach Indigenous communities around Canada as well as the sympathetic public, and the attention of policy makers/ influential figures.
The campaign is reaching out to you in the hope you may want to join us in the fight for Indigenous youth's lives. Your work is admiring to us and we believe you would make a great addition to the team. Of course, we would love to collaborate with you whether it be as a leader or an ally. Your talent and amazing work is inspiring to us all.
We are prepared to provide you with further information and a complete presentation of the campaign if this is something you are interested in.
Our team appreciates your consideration and looks forward to hearing back!
Sincerely,
We Matter
